Camping card
The camping card is obligatory at the approved Danish campsites and can be bought at Dancamps. Order online here
You just complete the order form which functions as a contemporary card until the new card arrives. The camping card will be equipped with a year sticker which is valid for one calendar year.
A valid “Camping Card Scandinavia” can be used in all the European countries (however not in Estonia, Lithuania, Latvia, Kaliningrad, Poland, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary, Austria, Bosnia, Serbia, Macedonia, Albania, Romania, or Bulgaria).
All valid camping cards include a third party liability insurance, in case the card holder does not have any other insurance coverage. The insurance only covers damages for which you can be prosecuted, according to the Danish case law.
Norway, Sweden, Finland, and Denmark cooperate on a common camping card, the Camping Card Scandinavia, which is issued in the Scandinavian countries. This means that also previous issued national camping cards can be used, provided that they are equipped with a valid year sticker from one of the Scandinavian countries.
